Susan Neilly specializes in teaching young children and beginning-level adults. She holds a BA in psychology with a minor in music from Dickinson College and a Master's Degree in social work from the University of Connecticut. She studied with Constance Coates, who also trained her as a piano teacher. Ms. Neilly focuses on providing students with a strong foundation in music reading, technique, and theory in a supportive learning environment. She often plays duets with her students at the piano recitals which take place at the end of each semester, when the school provides performance opportunities for everyone.
