Welcome to our 2012 - 2013 year. The Weston Music Center and School of the Performing Arts, a non-profit organization, was founded in 1950 by Constance and Franklin Coates. Since its founding, a skilled and caring faculty has fostered a lifelong love of music in hundreds of students of all ages, some of whom have gone on to professional careers in music. Both children and adults from beginning to advanced levels are taught by teachers who are distinguished both for their positions on university faculties and for their activities in the professional world of music. The school is continuing its tradition of providing first-rate instruction in music, offering opportunities to perform with other musicians in chamber music and other groups; and encouraging a love of music to last a lifetime. Welcome to the Weston Music Center’s 2012-2013 teaching year. Opening date is September 18, 2012 when lessons will commence. We will send out registration forms in August and are happy to talk with you about our school and faculty. We look forward to hearing from you.
